TOTAL HYDROCARBON GAS ANALYSERS

The NovaSTREAM 6000-FID uses the flame ionization detector (FID) to measure hydrocarbons in a sample stream.

The total hydrocarbon gas analyzer family is now available in a redesigned format and offers three variants.

Applications range from online measurement of total hydrocarbon content (THC) in industrial gas production or monitoring of THC in Ar/ air/ O2, N2 in air separation plants (equipment) to monitoring of limits at industrial sites.

NOVASTREAM 6000-FID EX

The NovaSTREAM 6000-FID analyzer is explosion-proof and uses an "Ex p" purge method for compliance. It is housed in a mild steel enclosure and is classified for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas. This specially designed enclosure allows real-time analysis in hazardous areas with reliable and consistent results.

With the AGC Thermal Conductivity Detector (TCD), which measures the difference in thermal conductivity between two gases. A variety of TCDs are available depending on the desired sensitivity and the conditions of the sample to be measured.

NovaCHROM 1000

We present the AGC NovaCHROM 1000 system with our world famous Discharge Ionization Detector (DID).

This type of GC is used to measure trace impurities in a sample air in a variety of applications from ppm to extremely low ppb levels. Impurities such as H2, Ar, O2, N2, CH4, CO, CO2, N2O, C2H2, C2H4, C2H6, Kr, Ne, Xe, CF4, C2F6, SF6, SiH4, SiH3Cl, SiHCl3, SiCl4, SiH2Cl2, etc. may be typical impurities that can be measured. The list is extensive, and please contact AGC Instruments if you have a specific impurity so we can investigate this further and develop a solution.

With a proven detector, the DID, using helium as the carrier gas, the NovaCHROM system allows for great flexibility and a variety of applications. The NovaCHROM family is an online GC solution with an interactive 6.5-inch color touchscreen display and our electronic Flow & Pressure Management System. All parameters and readings can be easily viewed, ensuring ease of use and accessibility with minimal training required. The GC is easy to install and set up. Depending on the design configuration, it can be installed in a standard industrial rack cabinet.

We offer many unique features, including AGC's proprietary column ovens, in which each column is housed in its own independently temperature-controlled oven. This design, unique to AGC, ensures premium column temperature control and stability.

All connections on our NovaCHROM 1000 are 1/8" VCR compression fittings, so our piping (1/8" or 1/16") has an excellent sealing rate and is not expected to leak.

NovaCHROM 2000

Introducing the NovaCHROM 2000 system, specifically designed for the analysis of trace contaminants in an argon matrix gas. It uses our proprietary Argon Discharge Detector (ADD), which is a plasma emission detector that provides low concentrations of H2, O2, N2, CH4, CO, CO2, and N2O as part of quality control for argon sample air down to ppb levels.

This detector has also proven to be very effective in analyzing specific impurities in CO2 and is used at many CO2 production sites worldwide.

The NovaCHROM 2000 uses argon as the carrier gas, which offers many advantages over alternative methods.

NovaCHROM 3000

The NovaCHROM 3000 incorporates the latest GC technology based on the industry-proven Flame Ionization Detector (FID). This robust detector design, with which AGC Instruments has extensive experience, is suitable for both cost-effective and reliable gas analysis. Using state-of-the-art technologies, this GC provides customers with the accurate results they need when measuring and quantifying hydrocarbons.

The FID allows easy measurement of hydrocarbons in the ppm to ppb range with minimal training. Typical impurities range from C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, C6 and higher boiling points, including BTEX, depending on the application and background gas.

NovaCHROM 4000

Introducing the NovaCHROM 4000 system, which is ideal for permanent gas analysis and is both cost-effective and reliable due to its universal applicability.

The NovaCHROM 4000 incorporates the latest GC technology based on the use of an industry proven detector. The AGC Thermal Conductivity Detector (TCD) is world famous. As experts in this detector since 1965, we have developed many variations of the TCD to support both our own applications and those of other GC manufacturers around the world. We are proud to be able to make measurements from single ppm values up to 100% concentration. This universal detector has been a staple in our company for many years, and many other companies also use it as an OEM solution for their own applications.

The TCD is based on the Wheatstone bridge equation. It allows measurements in the ppm to % range with ease. Many dimensions and connection options are available, but we will select the most appropriate configuration for your specific application.

NOVAPRO 9000 PROCESS GAS CHROMATOGRAPH

Introducing the latest online gas chromatograph for the process market from AGC Instruments.

The NovaPRO 9000 Process Gas Chromatograph (PGC) utilizes the most advanced technology and systems available. This advanced PGC offers customized solutions for a wide range of industries, providing 24-hour monitoring and reporting on demand. Accuracy levels are achieved with our range of proven detectors perfected over 50 years of experience.

Utilizing a pressurization method (Ex p), this Ex approved PGC is housed in a steel enclosure that is purged for use in the harshest environments and is suitable for use in Zone 1 and 2 classified areas.

This pressurized enclosure complies with IECEx and ATEX standards and is a versatile and customized solution where AGC brings over 50 years of gas chromatography experience to this market sector. It uses a 12-inch color touch screen with integrated electronic controller and is operated via a menu-driven software interface. The versatility and efficiency demonstrated are unsurpassed, and all data is generated in real time as chromatograms, digital panel meters or trend lines.

The system that operates and communicates with the NovaPRO 9000 is a highly intelligent platform carefully developed through interaction with our customers. Up to two detectors can be configured into a NovaPRO 9000 PGC system. The choice of detectors includes TCD, FID, FPD or DID. Additional detectors will be added in due course. NovaAir

NOVAAIR 3000 GC SYSTEM

The NovaAIR 3000 GC system, which uses the flame ionization detector (FID), is primarily used for hydrocarbon analysis.

It is used in many applications including ambient air monitoring or industrial hygiene applications such as methane/non-methane/BTEX hydrocarbon analysis, which is becoming increasingly prominent as many countries and companies look to reduce their carbon footprint.

Therefore, this application meets the regulatory environmental requirements that have been introduced in many countries to monitor emissions to the atmosphere.

The NovaAIR GC is based on proven technologies and provides detailed reporting to the control room, DCS or environmental authorities.

Due to its small footprint, the space requirement is minimal and offers a major advantage in areas where space is at a premium.

NOVAAIR 4000 GC SYSTEM

The NovaAIR 4000 GC system, using the Thermal Conductivity Detector (TCD), is used for accurate analysis of components in various gas mixtures at percentages and ppm levels.

The NovaAIR GC is based on proven technologies and provides detailed reporting to the control room or DCS.

Some applications include measurement of helium in neon, argon and nitrogen in oxygen, ppm impurities in argon, and nitrogen Pharmacopeia, to name a few. Due to its small footprint, the space requirement is minimal and offers a great advantage in areas where space is at a premium.

The TCD is a universal detector of which AGC Instruments is a leading supplier worldwide and has been optimized for a variety of applications with the new NovaAIR GC system.

TrendVision

TRENDVISION CHROMATOGRAPHY SOFTWARE

TrendVision Chromatography Software is a complete chromatography integration package that provides the gas chromatograph operator with all the tools necessary to interpret chromatograph data and results.

It integrates instrument control, data processing, display, reporting, and export functions needed in common industrial and laboratory environments into one package. The advanced features allow storage of all methods with valve timing so that the GC can be operated in automatic mode. Up to four GC channels are available, allowing data from up to eight continuous gas analyzers to be displayed within the software. This means that results from third-party instruments such as humidity, O2 and CO2 analyzers can be displayed alongside data from the GC. This provides the operator with meaningful information that can be transmitted to the control room or DCS as needed.

TrendVision provides a unified chromatography method with all settings contained in a single method, including event tables, calibration tables, and integration parameters. In addition, this software allows our GC systems to operate completely unattended. It can also control the AGC Instruments GC systems and automatically perform the required analysis using the pre-programmed methods. This is accompanied by the ability to send results to a DCS or the control room via fieldbus protocols or traditional 4-20 mA signals. When online operation is not required, the software also runs in stand-alone mode with the same functionality and ease of use.

This comprehensive software package is available in two versions, TrendVision CLASSIC and TrendVision PLUS.

TrendVision PLUS is the latest version of AGC Instruments' renowned chromatography data acquisition software. It uses rugged industrial hardware at a modular and scalable level that is easy to use and set up with an embedded Windows operating system. Once your system is installed, the daily usage environment is very simple and requires minimal training. It includes all the key features required in this demanding gas analysis environment and allows easy use of many standard functions with excellent chromatography results and straightforward reporting.
